Doubling up in Santee Cooper Country

Sydney Snelgrove was hunting with her dad, Tommy for turkeys in Orangeburg County. Sydney’s husband, Andrew was taking care of the calling duties, and up until this hunt, neither Sydney nor her dad had ever killed a turkey.

They were hunting on a tract of land that Tommy has hunted for years, and it’s where Sydney killed her first deer. The folks who own the land have now passed away, so this was an emotional hunt.

Andrew’s calling paid off, and both Sydney and her dad closed the deal on a double. That’s the way to live the Santee Cooper Life!
